About V-Up

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

V-Up is an initiative created by the Asian American Youth Alliance (AAYA) to support small businesses in building a larger social media presence. The idea for V-Up was born when we, as high school students, noticed that many of our parents or our friends' parents—small business owners—were struggling to compete with the online presence of major brands. For instance, a friend's mom's drink company simply couldn't rival the advertising power of a giant like Coca-Cola.

We recognized that a significant barrier for these small businesses was the time commitment required to create social media content, such as videos, to engage with potential customers. Many small business owners are too busy running their businesses to manage their social media effectively.

V-Up was designed to fill this gap. Through this free service, we help small businesses build an online identity, offering them a chance to compete in the digital marketplace by creating and managing their social media presence. Our mission is to empower local businesses to thrive in an increasingly competitive and digital world.
